Craft-Built Kitchens from Second-Generation Cabinet Makers
Walt and Matt Graff are second-generation cabinet makers, and that background shapes everything about how Capital Kitchen Refacing, LLC works. As a family business, we handle cabinet refacing, custom wood cabinets, and full kitchen remodeling for local homeowners who want real results without the chaos of a full teardown. Your kitchen can look and work like new without starting from scratch. When we finish, the space is spotless, appointments are kept, and the work looks like it was always there.

Three Ways to Refresh Your Kitchen
Not every kitchen needs the same scope of work. We offer three connected services so you can choose the right path for your goals and budget.
- Cabinet Refacing: We remove and replace cabinet faces, doors, and drawer fronts, giving your kitchen a fresh look without changing the layout or gutting the room. The existing cabinet boxes stay in place; everything visible gets renewed.
- Custom Wood Cabinets: Built to your specifications, not pulled from a catalog. Every dimension and detail is designed around your kitchen and what you actually want.
- Full Kitchen Remodeling: For homeowners ready for a broader transformation, we handle the complete scope: cabinetry, layout, and overall functionality. We do this in ways that refacing alone can’t.
What Sets Our Cabinet Work Apart
Most cabinet refacing companies apply a surface treatment. We build. Walt and Matt’s craft background means we use ¾-inch solid wood for our cabinet face frames. This is thicker than what most refacing companies use. The result feels like new cabinetry because, structurally, it is.
Standard cabinet manufacturers work in fixed 3-inch increments, which limits what’s possible in kitchens with non-standard dimensions. We don’t work that way. We build and reface cabinets at any size, so your kitchen gets cabinetry that actually fits rather than cabinetry that approximately fits.
We also reface frameless European-style cabinets. In frameless construction, doors and drawers mount directly to the cabinet box rather than to a face frame, which requires different techniques than standard face-frame cabinets. Not every refacing company handles this system. We do.
Material Choices & Design Guidance
Through our partnership with Conestoga Wood Specialties, you have access to a wide range of cabinet choices: alternative surfaces, wood species, paint, stains, glazes, and finish options. Wood species, door profile, and finish all affect how your kitchen looks and how it holds up over time.
We don’t hand you a binder and leave you to figure it out. We walk you through stain selection, hardware choices, door styles, and colors. Every design decision is made together so the finished kitchen reflects what you actually envisioned, not a compromise.
Ratings, Guarantees, & How We Work
We’ve earned 5 Houzz Awards and 2 Houzz Badges, with a 4.9 out of 5 overall rating on Houzz. That recognition reflects how our customers experience working with us: we arrive when we say we will, finish when we say we will, and leave no mess behind. When something comes up mid-project, we handle it right away.
Estimates are free and come with no obligation. We also offer price matching, so you can compare options knowing you’re getting a fair deal.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do You Provide a Free Estimate Before Work Begins?
Yes. We provide a free, no-obligation estimate so you have a clear number before any work starts. Just reach out and we’ll schedule a time to assess your kitchen.
Are You Limited to Standard Cabinet Sizes?
No. Most cabinet manufacturers work in fixed 3-inch increments, but we build and reface at any size. That flexibility matters in kitchens where standard dimensions don’t fit the space.
Can You Reface Frameless European-Style Cabinets?
Yes. Frameless cabinets require different refacing techniques than face-frame cabinets, and we handle both. If your kitchen has a European-style cabinet system, we can work with it.
Is Refacing the Right Choice if I Want to Change My Kitchen Layout?
Refacing preserves your existing cabinet boxes and their positions, so it’s best when you’re happy with the layout and want a visual refresh. If layout changes are the goal, a full kitchen remodel is the right path.
How Is Cabinet Refacing Different from Painting Cabinets?
Refacing replaces the physical doors, drawer fronts, and visible exterior surfaces with new material. Painting applies a finish coat to existing surfaces without replacing them. Refacing produces a more durable, like-new result.
Walt and Matt walk you through every choice, from door styles to stain colors. No default specs.
